David Neumaier

Howdy! I’m David Neumaier (yes, the very same as pictured above). I am the author of Guardians of Aranor: Rebirth and have a few more works coming.

I used to be a reporter for The Columbia Missourian (or The Missourian for short), working the “Public Life” beat, the Interactive Copy-Editing Desk, then the “Mizzou” (Local Higher Education) beat. I have a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri with an emphasis in “Digital and Print Reporting.” While at MU, I also had two stories published in the local Vox Magazine.

I have received my Master of Arts in Catholic Philosophical Studies from St. Meinrad where I contributed to our local art magazine with fiction stories. These days, in terms of writing, I focus more on personal, creative writing, which, in addition to links to my published stories, can be found on this website.

I will also be writing reviews of independently published books from authors who may not be getting the recognition they deserve.
